The Wicomico County Board of Education has been continuing to use obscene books in our schools, and read by students as young as age 11 in 6th grade. If you did not read the report, please read it. 

This is not an issue of censorship or book banning, but the violation of existing school policy, state, federal, and laws that define obscenity and child exploitation. At this time, the Wicomico County Board of Education, the Superintendent, and its Administration continue to violate their own policies and the law. When brought to their attention on numerous occasions, they continually fail to acknowledge the concerns of citizens and choose to remain on the path of blatant negligence, while having no regard for the law. They hide behind a rigged, dead-end process designed to keep the obscene materials in place instead of addressing the origin of how these materials entered the school to begin with.
 
Wicomico County Public Schools is ​using obscene and sexually-explicit materials in our schools. 

We petition the Wicomico County Board of Education to remove obscene materials and stop such materials from entering our schools through sound policy and enforcement, and we demand that WCPS focus on academic proficiency in the core subjects of English, Math, Science, and History instead of trying to sexually indoctrinate and exploit our children.
