Mother Files Lawsuit Alleging That Baltimore County Public Schools Drugged Her Non-Verbal Autistic Son
A Baltimore County mother has filed a lawsuit against Baltimore County Public Schools, alleging that her non-verbal autistic son was unknowingly given melatonin by a teacher at Maiden’s Choice School in fall 2024. According to the complaint, Tiffany Council claims her son suffered serious physical and cognitive effects after allegedly being administered the sleep aid without parental consent or medical authorization while attending the special-needs school in Baltimore County


Worcester County Public School Records Indicate a Colluded Effort to Elude Audits & Accountability
During 2016, Worcester County Public Schools was due for the state mandated audit of the district that is conducted by the Maryland Office of Legislative Audits (OLA). Baltimore City Public Schools Appoints New CEO (Superintendent)
On Monday, April 20, the Baltimore City Public Schools Commissioners appointed a new CEO (Superintendent). His name is Dr. Jermaine Dawson. He will begin his term on July 1, 2026. He was unanimously selected by the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners.
